All of our Piranha Ironworkers come standard with a round bar shearing section, with the exception of the P50, which can shear round bar with an optional attachment. If you want to cut smaller sizes of round bar, different sizes of blade can be purchased from our parts and service department for the highest quality cut.
If you’re not worried about cut quality, you can simply flip the upper shear knife upside down so that the flat edge is facing down and the half-moon edge is facing up. This will allow you to cut a smaller size bar.
Once again, we offer different blade sizes available for purchase from our parts and service department for the highest quality cut. But with this tip, you can get the job done if you aren’t worried about it looking pretty.
