Production Control Coordinator - Rockford, IL

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are accepting resumes for “Production Control Coordinator” to utilize Syteline (ERP system) to manage/maintain job routings, shop schedules, research past due customer orders, assist with lead-time requests, outsourcing and work with internal groups as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all aspects of shop floor manufacturing jobs.
  • Review and correct job routings.
  • Run job workbench, generate, and distribute jobs with blueprints.
  • Re-schedule projected late manufacturing jobs.
  • Investigate and resolve material and job shortages.
  • Review and close completed manufacturing jobs.
  • Process various reports; job status, job closing, material variance and others.
  • Obtain quotes/lead-times on outsourced manufactured items.
  • Participate in reviewing machines for shortages/current lead-times.
  • Update job routings per Engineer Change Notifications (ECN).
  • Communicate with vendors & various internal departments.
  • Perform inventory adjustments as needed.
  • Lead / participate in weekly shortage and machine order meeting.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate with customers to request payments

  • Generate invoices and send to customers

Controls Engineer - Rockford, IL

POSITION DESCRIPTION – Controls Engineer

Job Description:

Design and support electrical and software systems for Piranha’s line of laser cutting, plasma cutting , and punching machines. The successful candidate must have experience with CNC controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics, and be highly motivated with a willingness to learn multiple software platforms.

Educational Requirements:

  • BS Electrical Engineering , BS Electrical Engineering Technology or Technical College with applicable work experience
  • 5yrs of Industry Experience – preferably with machine tools

Technology Requirements:

  • Siemens 840D Control
    • Programming and operation, STEP-7
  • WIN CC Visualization Software
  • Working knowledge of hydraulic circuits

Responsibilities:

Assemble-Build-Wire Industrial electrical panels and controls for CNC Punch Plasma machines, Lasers, press brakes, high definition plasma, bending rolls, and related product, via blueprints, bill of materials, photos, job notes.  Test run machines per final inspection and test procedures.

Requirements:

  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints.
  • Follow electrical schematics to build panels, assemble CNC packages, drives, motors, terminal blocks, IO’s, switches, safety circuits, and related.
  • Wire complete machines and sub-assemblies.
  • Knowledge of wiring practices, layout, neatness in cable runs.
  • Knowledge of using flexible, rigid conduit, and terminating wires.
  • Utilize photos, blueprints, engineering sketches, verbal instructions to build product.
  • Use PC/wire label printer to create wire numbers.
  • Follow written or verbal instructions.
  • Write legibly, fill out final inspection and test documentation.
  • Able to perform mechanical assembly or aptitude to learn.
  • Use tools of the trade. Meters, screwdrivers, knock-out punches, drills, taps, wire cutters, crimpers, soldering iron, wrenches, air/electric drills, die grinders, and others.
  • Safe machine startup, verify correct voltage, phasing, troubleshoot startup issues.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are accepting resumes for Warehouse personnel to pull product for shipment, job orders, and outsourcing.  Unload trucks, receive, put product away.  Ship product via various carriers.  Utilize PC, MS Excel, Email, Syteline to perform warehouse related functions.  Other duties as assigned.

Full time and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate cranes, forklifts, order picker and pallet jacks.
  • Pull correct inventory for customer orders, shop orders, or outsourced product.
  • Correctly label and put stock away in correct locations by hand, forklift, or crane.
  • Use computer system to issue stock, receive stock, verify PO’s, print customer orders, shipping report, UPS World Ship software, inventory moves, cycle counts, and release jobs.
  • Fill out BOL, International documents, pick lists and various carrier documents.
  • Use a variety of packaging techniques to ensure packing is robust and survives transportation.
  • Unload & Load product using forklift, crane, rigging devices, or other methods.
  • Drive company vehicle to pick up or deliver product locally.
  • Use hand tools such as banding tools, pry bars, sledgehammer, nail gun, impact wrenches, tape measure, power saw and others.
  • Follow shipping instructions from customer orders to ensure items shipped are correct part numbers, quantities, shipping method, and sent to correct destination.

Field Service Engineer - Rockford, IL

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Mega Fabrication, Inc. dba Piranha Is in need of a top-notch Field Service Engineer for servicing equipment throughout North America with some International Travel. Our Manufacturing Facility is located in Rockford Illinois. If you have 5+ years or more experience in the repair and or modification of CNC machinery and strong electrical and mechanical background, then this might be the position you are looking for. You will be servicing machine tools with various controls and drives, Fanuc, Siemens, and Beckhoff Control experience a plus. Laser and Plasma Cutting experience desired, not required. Military background in the electrical/electronic field a plus. This is a direct position with great opportunity for growth. This is a full-time position with responsibilities as outlined below.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Travel throughout North America and some International Travel
  • Mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting and repair of machine tools.
  • Modification of electrical/mechanical systems of machine tools.
  • Preventative maintenance of electrical/mechanical systems of machine tools.
