Tonnage requirements depend on material thickness and type. Piranha offers 50 to 225 tons across its lineup; lighter fabrication and thinner steel typically need 50-90 tons, while heavy structural steel processing and thicker plate work call for 140-225 ton dual-operator machines.

Piranha ironworkers process flat bar, angle iron, structural steel plate, and round or square stock. Standard features like the low rake angle flat bar shear and coper notcher allow clean, precise cuts and punches across a wide range of steel thicknesses and profiles.

Pricing starts at $18,995 for the 50-ton P-50 single-operator model and ranges up to $96,995+ for the 140-ton PII-140 dual-operator machine. BII Series dual-operator models start at $25,900. Custom configurations and volume pricing are available through Piranha's Build and Price tool.

Most models include a urethane stripper attachment, automatic urethane hold-downs, a low rake angle flat bar shear, a floating upper blade on the angle shear, and a low rake angle coper notcher, plus Piranha's proprietary dovetail design for quick tooling changes.

Piranha's quick-change dovetail tooling system is designed to significantly reduce machine set-up time compared to conventional bolt-on tooling, allowing shops to switch between punching, shearing, and notching operations quickly to minimize production downtime.
